Software Test Engineer

NetAcquire Corporation is pleased to announce an opening for a Software Test Engineer. Working with a small team of experienced engineers, you will fulfill a key role in end-to-end testing and delivery of real-time telemetry data processing systems deployed in aerospace and defense industries. NetAcquire products have a direct impact on customers in range safety, launch facilities, vehicle tracking & testing, on-ground satellite simulation, and more.

We are looking for someone who is eager to grow technical proficiency, to learn new technologies, and expand into a leadership role that directly impacts NetAcquire product success. NetAcquire products are deployed on Windows and Linux hosts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test scenarios against software products under development
    • Testing methods and types (regression, stress, reliability, etc.)
    • Continuous improvement
    • Test automation
    • Customer-facing product documentation
  • Troubleshoot product failures, report issues, and verify issue fixes
  • Produce and maintain test scenario documentation
  • Contribute to test planning activities and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering colleagues to achieve work priorities and schedules

Required Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on software testing
  • Hands-on networking (protocols, cabling, switches, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skill (verbal and written)
  • Seasoned interpersonal abilities
  • Internally motivated, accepts responsibility, self-starter

Education Requirements

  • 4-year technical degree

  • Physical lab maintenance (cabling, physical gear setup)
